Vacating/Expunging Criminal Records

A past criminal conviction can interfere with employment, renting a home, admission to college, graduate school or trade school, obtaining financial aid, and purchasing a firearm. There is a significant emotional burden of having a criminal record as well. Vacating/expunging a criminal record is a legal process that removes a criminal conviction from your record. Vacating a conviction allows you to legally answer “no” when asked if you have ever been convicted of a crime on a job application, rental application, and the like. However, not all convictions can be vacated/expunged. If you have a criminal conviction that you would like vacated/expunged from your record, please give me a call and we can determine if you are eligible.
